Most of the day was filled up with work, work, work. But I did sneak in a few hours–when I should have been sleeping—to finish up the Pirates of the Caribbean Play Set in Disney Infinity.
What a shame that the figures cost so much before the Infinity line was cancelled, and now that they’re totally affordable, that it’s been cancelled. The Pirates Play Set is like a fun little Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, but short enough that I can actually finish it. A solid 8/11. Yes, that’s an official PestySam review score.
Looking forward to tackling the the Monsters University and Incredibles Play Sets next, although I might wait until I can pick up a Violet Incredible figure to take on the latter. That one has been impossible to find at clearance prices, and I just can’t bring myself to pull the trigger at $12+ for a new one, and almost as much for used.
